He said that the manual vote counting will be adopted, while the ballots for the elections of the councils of the governorate and the cities of Hasaka and Qamishli will be recounted manually.

Ministry of Economy announced that it is about converting part of the land of the Arab common market in the city of Aleppo to include a commercial exhibition and hotels.
Muhammad Nidal Shaar, the Minister of Economy, visited the land of Arab common market in Aleppo, accompanied by Governor of Aleppo a few days ago, where the minister said that his visit was to settle the conditions of the land of the Arab common market, which regained the ministry about 150 thousand square meters and will be invested to establish a city of huge commercial includes exhibitions, hotels and offices the contribution of each commercial and industrial economic activities in Aleppo.
The minister pointed out that he will discuss the possibility of a literal complexes on the outskirts of the city under the terms of environmental, health and science together all the trades located within the city and the allocation of the craftsmen according to studies and possibilities available, including contributing to the transfer of all industries and trades to light outside the city.
The minister opened, after his tour of a branch, the development and promotion of exports of Aleppo.

GOVERNORATES, (SANA)- Syrians all over the country flocked to elections polls at 7:00 o'clock local time (5:00 am GMT) Monday to elect their representatives to the Local Administration Councils (LAC).
LAC elections, in the framework of the ongoing process of building institutions, promoting democracy and achieving the comprehensive reform process led by President Bashar al-Assad, are in implementation of the new Local Administration Law- Decree No. 107- issued by President Bashar al-Assad last August .
The elections are further a first practical implementation of the legislative law No. 101 for 2011 on for the General Elections Law which constitutes the cornerstone of the organization of the elections of the members of the People's Assembly and the local councils in Syria.
The elections also guarantee the integrity of the electoral process, the right of the candidates to supervise it and ensure full judicial supervision of the voters on the electoral process and their freedom to exercise their electoral right in free and fair atmospheres.
42889 candidates compete for 17588 seats in 1337 administrative units, including 154 cities, 502 towns and 681 municipalities.

Syrian political analyst, Tawfiq Dawoud, told the channel "Russia Today" on 12 December / December that the local elections "took place in all parts of Syria, with the exception of areas where it is difficult to take place in terms of security because there are militants who impose their desire on the street."
Continued political analyst: "The remaining areas where the election is being conducted with ease and transparency, and perhaps for the first time in the history of Syria Elections in this way without any democracy the dictates of one."
Tawfiq Dawoud pointed out that the areas that are not conducted the voting process is very limited and not more than neighborhoods in some cities, describing the election as "the first stage in the framework of reforms" carried out by the Syrian government.

GOVERNORATES, (SANA) – In an attempt to disrupt the local elections and spread tension, an armed terrorist group on Monday targeted the law-enforcement forces in Sham al-Golan, Daraa Province, resulting in the martyrdom of three law-enforcement personnel.
An official source told SANA's correspondent that the authorities intervened and clashed with the terrorist group, killing four of the gunmen and wounding others.
In Homs city, the authorities on Sunday evening engaged an armed terrorist group, killing and wounding some of its members and arresting their leader.
This group was responsible for assassinating engineer Maher Ghadir, who was assassinated on Saturday morning while heading to work at Abu Rabah Gas Plant.
An official source told SANA's correspondent that the authorities are pursuing the remaining members of the group.

An official source told SANA's correspondent in Idlib that an armed terrorist group assassinated Brig. Gen. Ghanim Ibrahim al-Hasan, an instructor at Al-Assad Military Engineering Academy.
Al-Hasan was shot near the town of Saraqeb in Idlib countryside will on his way to Damascus from Aleppo where he works.
Authorities Recover Four Poll Boxes Stolen By Gunmen in Tallkalakh
Chairman of the Elections Subcommittee, Judge Abdelrahman Rahmoun said that four poll boxes stolen by hooded gunmen were recovered.
He said that gunmen stole the boxes after attacking election centers in Talkalakh area, and after recovering them, the number of envelopes in them was cross-referenced with the number of voters and the numbers were identical.
The attacks were carried out by two hooded gunmen using a motorcycle accompanied by around 20 people. They attacked an election center in al-Zara School and stole two boxes, then went to Hasserjiye center and stole two more boxes.
Authorities Dismantle Three Explosive Device on Mhardeh-Hama Highway
Engineering units in Hama dismantled three explosives devices planted by armed terrorist groups on the Mhardeh-Hama highway. Each unit weighed 15 kilograms.

Syria has held local elections despite continuing violence between security and opposition forces.
Authorities said the vote had been freer than in previous years, but the opposition called for a boycott and launched a general strike.
Turnout was expected to be very low. Correspondents say many Syrian voters would not risk going to the polls.
Fighting is said to have continued in several cities, with at least 20 people reported killed on Monday.
The Local Co-ordination Committees (LCC), a network of opposition activists, said the deaths had occurred in Idlib in the north, Homs and Hama further south, and in a suburb of the capital, Damascus.
The group said four women and two children were among the dead.
Fierce fighting is also reportedly continuing in the southern province of Deraa.
On Sunday, activists said up to 18 people had been killed across the country - including 11 in Homs and Hama.
The UN estimates that more than 4,000 people have died in the nine-month uprising, including 307 children.
The Syrian government says it is fighting armed groups. Many army defectors have joined the opposition in recent months.
Reports from Syria are difficult to verify as foreign journalists are unable to move around the country freely.

United Nations Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay is due to brief the Security Council on the situation in Syria later on Monday.
