RAQQA, (SANA)_ H.E. President al-Assad Performed Eid al-Adha Prayer along with thousands of Syrian citizens at al-Nour Mosque in Raqqa, 550 kilometers from Damascus.
Shaikh Abdil Azim Shaikho delivered the Prayer's ceremony highlighting the sublime meanings of the blessed al-Adha as well as the ongoing process of reform in Syria under the Leadership of H.E. President al-Assad.
Shaikho called for the bolstering of Syria's National Unity in the face of the conspiracies hatched by Syria's enemies, blasting the recent US calls on armed groups' members in Syria as not to surrender themselves to the Syrian Government nor to hand their weapons over to the Government.
Syrian Ministry of Interior issued Friday an amnesty for those who hand over within a week illegal arms and weapons, used intensively by armed terrorist groups against the Syrians.
"The process of reforms announced by you since your first day of your leadership is but the genuine and sincerest proof of your serious keenness on the realization of reform objectives combating corruption in all of its forms,'' Shaikh Shaikho addressed H.E. President al-Assad.
"Syria, thanks to the wisdom of president al-Assad, God's willing would emerge from crisis stronger and more steadfast,'' added Shaikho pledging that Syria is ever to remain the bastion of steadfastness in the face of the sinister bids seeking its destruction.

RAQQA, (SANA) – President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday said Syria is strong thanks to its people, national choices and independent decision, and it is determined to restore its national rights fully.
The president's remarks came during his meeting with a number of clan seniors and political, economic and social figures at al-Raqqa Governorate Building after performing Eid al-Adha prayer
"We have no choice left but to win any battle that would target our sovereignty and national decision," the President added.
President al-Assad expressed appreciation of the love he felt from the tens of thousands of people who gathered in front of the Governorate Headquarters to welcome his visit.
The president added that the patriotism and love are neither strange from al-Raqqa people nor the Syrian people as a whole who proved to the world that they are the real defenders of the homeland.
President al-Assad considered that the Syrian people's standing up against sedition, terrorism and foreign interference, and their adherence to the principles and beliefs based on legitimate rights constitute the basis for Syria's steadfastness in the face of the conspiracies hatched against it.
Later, President al-Assad met several figures in Raqqa, as talks dealt with means of developing the situation of services in the province serving people's interests.
People of Raqqa expressed their pride of President al-Assad's wise leadership, stressing their confidence in Syria's ability, under his leadership, to overcome the conspiracy stronger.

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday issued the legislative decree No. 124 for the year 2011 on granting general amnesty to the persons, of the military age, who were defaulted from undergoing the conscription tests or from acceding to the army without lawful excuse.
Defaulted persons should consult to their recruitment divisions within 60 days starting from the circulation date of the decree.

Issued by Dr. "Adib al-Mayyaalah" Governor of Central Bank of Syria Resolution No. 785, amending the provisions of the rate centers of cutting net operating city or creditor "Short or Long" which may be of banks operating in Syria keep them contained in Article I of the decision of Central Bank of Syria No. 362 to become a maximum of 2% of the total funds for the basic elements of the net identified within the model number "1" of the decision after it had been 5%.
According to "al-Iqtisadi" site, and it is under the resolution, banks are not allowed to keep foreign reserves more than 2%, and every increase is required to sell to the central bank, and thus restrict banks in the formation of reserves.
And the resolution included amended Article IV's become as follows, "banks may be based to the sale or purchase of foreign exchange among themselves, can also have recourse to the Central Bank of Syria for the sale or purchase of foreign exchange in the form number" 2 ", and settlement process is done according to the price announced by the Central and hours on receipt of the request, and all operations are buying and selling decisions in accordance with the Central and instructions issued by the Central in this regard. "
This resolution is effective after ten days from the date of endorsement.
