HOMS, (SANA) - Huge crowds of the central province of Homs on Wednesday rallied in al-Hadareh Street in the city to express their rejection of the Arab League (AL) decisions against Syria and any attempt at foreign interference in its internal affairs.
The gathered citizens chanted slogans stressing commitment to national unity and support to Syria's independent national decision and the reforms under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
The participants expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of the Syrian army to defend the homeland's security, safety and unity.
The crowds burned an Israeli flag with logos of some of the instigative satellite channels which are participating in shedding the Syrian blood through fabricating news and falsifying facts about what is really taking place in Syria.
The citizens, responding to an invitation presented by the youth of "Lovers of Syria campaign", expressed readiness to sacrifice their lives for the sake of defending Syria's dignity, stressing that the AL and western countries' pressures won't deviate Syria from its pan-Arab and national stances.
Head of the campaign Samer Habib said that his participation in the rally aimed at condemning the Israeli agents in the region and rejecting news broadcast by instigative media through setting the Israeli flag on fire and raising the Syrian flag in appreciation of the army's sacrifices to defend the homeland.
One of the citizens said "we are here today to tell the whole world that all conspiracies against Syria will fail thanks to its people and their support of the comprehensive reform program led by President al-Assad."
