Sunday, September 18, 2011. The new school year has begun. This is outside of a school (perhaps a primary school) in Baba Amru, 3km southwest of the old quarter of Homs city, an edge of the residential district before the Orontes river, and one of the hotbeds of anti-government protests.

Wrtings on the wall says "The absolute loyalty. . . " at 00:00, "for al-Baath and a leader" at 00:10, "March for renovation (or modernisation). . . " at 00:12, "and development"at 00:13. (You may not like the first slogan, but the second slogan can be accepted in other countries.)

And idiot parents of pupils in this district are making their children shout in front of the gate "No study and no teaching until the president falls down" several times and "Allahu Akbar" another several times. One of the parents filmed the scene, and uploaded to YouTube.

From educational and disciplinary point of view, it is important to make your children live a constant life regardless what adults do. If parents allow their children not to study, they will just got excited because it is easier to do so.

In 10 years time, these children will face a fierce competition with their counterparts from Damascus and Aleppo. It is obvious that Damascus and Aleppo will win and Baba Amru will be defeated. Thus the structure of ruling in Syria will not change.

بعد 10 عاما، هؤلاء الأطفال يواجهون منافسة شرسة مع نظرائهم من دمشق وحلب. فمن الواضح أن يتم الفوز لدمشق وحلب والهزيمة لبابا عمرو. وبالتالي فإن هيكل الحكم في سورية لن يتغير.
