According to geophysicist Adham al-Saud from the Seismic Monitoring Center, the earthquake's epicenter was located at latitude 33.143 and longitude 35.158 at a depth of 5.3 kilometers.
He said that minor seismic activity registering 1.5 on the Richter scale took place on 11:16 PM in the same area, and that the earthquake caused no injuries or damages.
