ALEPPO, (SANA) – Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Badr el-Din Hassoun on Monday said that the Syrian people have foiled the conspiracy because of their awareness.
The remarks came during his meeting with a Turkish students delegation visiting Syria to witness the reality of its events.
Hassoun added that the reason behind the external pressure is dissuading Syria from its national and pan-Arab stances against the western schemes aiming at fragmenting the region to seize its resources.
The Grand Mufti pointed out to the deep-rooted relations between the Syrian and Turkish peoples. For their part, members of the delegation expressed their solidarity with Syria and their total rejection of attempts at foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.
The 40-member delegation also met with students from Aleppo University, where they expressed their rejection of the Turkish government's stances towards Syria.

Studied the Parties Affairs Committee held today, chaired by Major General Mohammed Shaar and Minister of the Interior requests submitted to it by citizens wishing to establish political parties according to the law of parties Legislative Decree No. 100 of 2011.
And checked the documents submitted to it by the founders of the parties and their applicability to the law of parties and its executive, decided to refer the request and documents to establish National Development Party and the National Solidarity Democratic Party to be published in two daily newspapers for a week.
The Committee also considered the documents submitted by the founders of the Solidarity Party, the Arab Democratic Party and the national community and made some remarks and decided to return to the founders avoided and re-presented to the Committee at its next meeting to decide on the subject forwarded for publication in the case to avoid feedback.
The committee decided to reject the application submitted by the founders of the Democratic Party, the Syrian form due to non-completion of documents the party and in particular the minimum number of members in the party provided for in Article 15 of the Regulations a completion of a number of members to 1000 members within a period of sixty days specified by law and the absence of a condition that The members shall be registered in the records of civil status for half of the provinces of the Syrian Arab Republic, at least not be less than the proportion of members in each province for five percent of the total members.
The document includes application name of the party to be founded and Its headquarters and the names, titles, occupations and dates of birth of the founding members of the signatories of the request of the establishment and objectives of the party and its principles.
The founders have the right to challenge before the Court of Civil Appeals in Damascus during the first fifteen days from the date of notification, the court must decide on the objection within sixty days after the decision is final.
According to the Political Parties Law and its implementing regulations may be interested individual the right to object before the Committee had been published within ten days after the date of publication so that it is filing an objection to the Secretariat of the Committee on parties located in the building of the Ministry of Interior Bkivrsush.
