The chancellor said Azzawi told a news conference to announce the results of elections of local administration in its tenth session today that the electoral process took place under the supervision of a full judicial and follow-up of all the media.
He said al-Azzawi, the number of candidates for election to the governing bodies of local / 42,889 / candidates competed for 17,629 seats, where the number of polling stations / 9558 / hub and the number of ballot boxes / 1916 / fund and the number of administrative units 1355 units and the number of eligible voters who have obtained identity and completed / 18 / year reached / 11497883 / voters.
The chancellor said Azzawi, the number of candidates who hold graduate degrees was / 12,523 / candidate, the total number of candidates from middle-certificates / 6476 / As a candidate for the number of women candidates has attained / 1650 / candidate.
He noted that the / 219 / administrative unit its members won by acclamation that the number of candidates equals the number of seats allocated to it and not to get elected in the / 183 / administrative unit that the number of candidates less than the number of seats, adding that he was re-elected in five administrative units and the number of polling stations that have been where the election is six centers, based on the decisions of election committees, subcommittees and as a result of the objections made to it.
