HOMS/HAMA, (SANA) – Engineer Aws Abdel Karim Khalil, a nuclear engineering specialist and charge d'affaires at al-Baath University was martyred on Wednesday by the fire of an armed terrorist group in Homs governorate.

A source in the governorate told SANA correspondent that the martyr was targeted near Jisr Bab Amr and shot in the head, which caused his immediate death.

The authorities found the body of Citizen Abdel Rahman al-Maghrebi with a gunshot wound in the head thrown near al-Patraa Pharmacy in al-Baiyadeh district in Homs.

Citizen Abdel Rahman al-Mbaiyed from Bab Hood was transported to the hospital after he was shot dead in al-Adawiyeh district.

Law Enforcement Colonel Martyred in Hama

Law enforcement Colonel, Tayssir al-Oqla, was martyred on Tuesday after being shot by an armed terrorist group at al-Ta'awuniya district in Hama.

An official source in Hama told SANA Correspondent that al-Oqla was performing his duty in preserving the security of the aforementioned district with a group of his colleagues when an armed terrorist group opened fire on them using machineguns.

Col. al-Oqla was shot in his head, and he was transferred to al-Hourani Hospital in Hama where he was martyred affected by his injuries.

Forensic Doctor at Hama National Hospital, Mohsen al-Zubaidi, said "The body of martyr al-Oqla was transferred to the Hospital where the examination of the body showed that the death resulted from a brain hemorrhage and skull fracture resulted from a gunshot.

Policeman dies after his abduction by terrorist group

Policeman Abdo Fatahl-Allah was martyred, his nephew Abdul-Kadir Fatah-Allah was wounded after they were abducted by an armed terrorist group in Shannan village of Jabal al-Zawiyah at dawn.

A source told SANA that the two policemen were found after 2 hours of their abduction, adding "they were severely tortured, one of them died and the other had severe injuries."

Another armed terrorist group shot fires at the Police Chief of Ihsem town in Idlib, Captain Hassan al-Ahmad. He was wounded with light injuries as he was shot by pump-action bullets.

The armed terrorist group also stormed a number of schools in Idlib countryside to terrify students and teachers in order to obstruct the educational process.

The competent authorities in Idlib are pursuing the terrorists, arresting a number of wanted persons in several crimes.
