Beirut, (SANA) -

The Committee discussed the joint Syrian-Lebanese security at points of al-Dabbousiyyah and al-'Abboudiyyah during its meeting today at the center of Lebanese General Security in the town of slavery on the ground and ways of overcoming the confusion of traffic resulting from the direct use of the Lebanese side of the new offices at the point of al-'Abboudiyyah in the border public security and customs.

A statement issued at the conclusion of the meeting of the National Agency quoted the Lebanese media that it was decided to extend the passage of trucks between the two countries at four in the morning until five in the afternoon of each day instead of trucks crossing from eleven o'clock noon until four o'clock in the afternoon.

The statement noted that it was assigned to riders of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces organize the passage of trucks and cars on the international road leading to the crossing point into al-'Abboudiyyah inside Lebanese territory as the meeting asked the Lebanese authorities to work fast to expand the international highway from the Lebanese side and resurfaced and the allocation of spaces customs and wide from the Lebanese side as garages for trucks.
