Moscow - SANA

Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov should help external parties to increase dialogue and stop incitement to violence and calls for the opposition to ignore the initiative of the Syrian leadership in the field of reforms.

The new Gatilov in a statement today in Moscow's stance rejecting any foreign intervention in Syria, warning that any intervention will lead to insecurity in the region.

He pointed to the Russian official said his country is doing lasting with all parties in Syria, urging them to immediately start work on the basis of a joint initiative of the Arab League.

He added that the draft resolution tabled by Russia and China on Syria is still on the table the UN Security Council and includes an invitation to a political settlement diplomacy of the situation on the basis of the cessation of violence by all parties and start a dialogue on the reform agenda adopted by the Syrian leadership and expressed his confidence that this position alone is which allows to avoid deepening internal crisis in Syria.

The Communist Party of the Russia also condemned foreign interference in the internal affairs of Syria and the media war experienced by pointing out that this intervention under the pretext of being evasive and insolent, to ensure human rights and democracy.

Said Gennady Zoganov Chairman of the Central Committee of the Party in a statement issued today .. Syria is exposed to fierce media campaign and the United States and its allies to intervene traveled in their internal affairs, and the packers official representatives of these countries to issue public calls for insurgents to continue their armed as they claim the opposition to not engage in any contacts with the Syrian authorities despite the fact that President Bashar al-Assad began the implementation of political reforms announced by diligently and consistently, where work is to develop a new text of the Constitution of the country and will soon local elections on the basis of a new law will also be parliamentary elections early next year.

The .. The constant pressure on Syria and interference in its internal affairs under the pretext hold evasive and insolent, to ensure human rights and democracy, expressing his frustration at the involvement of the Arab League in this adventure hostile to Syria.

He Zoganov that this League which was established to consolidate the relations between its members and the coordination of political activity to defend their interests turned into a tool to interfere in the internal affairs of some Arab countries and to the means of implementing the U.S. policy of aggression, while the Charter requires respect for existing political systems in their countries and to reject any attempts to change this systems.

The statement noted that Turkey is one of the organizers of subversive activity against Syria and said .. We consider Turkey's bid because the state becomes a major regional Arab countries subject to the same and see that the rulers existing territories providing shelter for their opposition to the Syrian armed and supplied weapons to criminal elements.

The statement strongly condemned these acts and demanded an immediate end to interference in the internal affairs of Syria and the need for the Syrian people to decide their own destiny, stressing solidarity with the people who will show the wisdom and find the only right solution in order to prevail peace and tranquility in the country.

Russian Researcher: Arab League resolution on Syria a dangerous precedent

Professor Vladimir Isayev, a researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences described Arab League resolution on Syria as a very dangerous precedent and could reflect negatively even to states that voted on it.

He criticized the Isayev told SANA correspondent in Moscow today by those who claim that they oppose the armed actions against the citizens and the Syrian army and said that the arrival of these weapons to terrorist groups in Syria confirms the intervention of foreign players through some of the neighboring countries in the internal Syrian affairs.

The Isayev said his country's position of what is happening in Syria is very clear and declared repeatedly and accurately over the top Msuulleha including Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is that Moscow will not allow any outside interference in the affairs Syria will not pass any resolution in the Security Council against Syria because the Syrian people capable of solving his issues himself.

He was surprised at the Russian researcher, a specialist on Syria's position that the opposition to not possess any program for change in Syria, pointing out that if it is required is to change people, it means that solutions to the political chaos does not reform.

Russian newspaper: Because of the position of Syria .. Ankara may spoil its relations with Moscow

Under the title "because of its stance on Syria .. Ankara may spoil its relations with Moscow," newspaper "Kommersant" an article which said that the Turkish President Abdullah Gul announced that the Syrian crisis can no longer be resolved by negotiations, and that President Bashar al-Assad cannot be trusted anymore . The Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has gone further than that, they did not rule out the possibility of foreign intervention to save the civilian population.

In light of this, some experts argue that any decisive action by the Ankara may cause a problem in its relations with Moscow, which still supports Syria.

His comments came the hard-line President Gul in an interview with the newspaper "The Guardian" on the eve of the British state visit to London.

The Turkish president said, "Syria is in trouble, and change a must. The plan proposed by the League of Arab States to get out of the crisis, not the multiplicity can be implemented, because Bashar Assad chose another path. We no longer trust him."

For his part, gave Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's speech at an international conference in Istanbul, which warned that his country would not accept "the use of tanks and guns against the claimants of their rights." The experts considered the last phrase as a hint to the possibility of using force against Syria.

The paper adds that the tireless efforts made by Turkey to overthrow the Syrian regime may result in serious consequences in terms of its relations with Moscow.

It is worth mentioning in this area that the policy experts who were close to the Kremlin in recent years looked to the Islamists who run the helm of government in Ankara as potential allies of Moscow, and even political partners almost.

With regard to the position of President Bashar al-Assad parted Russia and Turkey, show that they are diametrically opposed.

And draws the paper to the position of a former advocate of rapprochement with Turkey, director of the Institute for Political Research, Sergei Markov, who is not inclined to give the character of the dramatic events.

Markov said that Ankara's interest is understandable, they want leadership in the region, and establish a friendly regime in Damascus, this would help to solve the Kurdish question, for example. All the recent actions of the Turkish authorities, in Libya, Syria, during a visit to Egypt Ordegan, aimed at one goal is to strengthen Ankara's efforts aspiring to the role of regional leader.

Turkey is working actively to put its social model - based political combination of moderate Islam and secular modernity.

As for Russia, it has in Syria two things: the maintenance of military naval base in Tartous, and to avoid instability in the region. In the current conflict between President Assad and Erdogan, Moscow should not stand by any of the parties, but to maintain relations with them both. This position may help Russia in the future if she can play the role of mediator between them. "

U.S. will stop giving Russia data on forces in Europe
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/nov/22/us-will-stop-giving-russia-data-on-forces-in-europ/
Associated Press
Tuesday, November 22, 2011

The United States said Tuesday it will stop providing data to Russia on nonnuclear military forces in Europe, a sign the Obama administration is growing frustrated at the pace of arms control negotiations with Moscow.

The move follows failed talks aimed at reviving a treaty that governs the number and position of troops and conventional weapons that are positioned in Europe.

In 2007, Russia suspended its observance of the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty, but the U.S. and its allies had continued to provide Russia with data on forces, as the treaty prescribed.

The United States decided to halt that cooperation because the talks with Russia had dragged on too long. European allies, who are also signatories to the CFE treaty, were also expected to stop sharing data with Russia.

In a statement, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the United States is prepared to resume a data exchange with Russia if Moscow meets its treaty obligations.

Ms. Nuland later said that she hoped the move would spur Russia four years after suspension of the pact.

"We think it's important to take some countermeasures vis-a-vis Russia and maybe this will crystalize the mind in terms of our ability to get back to the table," she said.

The Obama administration has made improving relations with Russia a priority and achieved some success, including the ratification of a major new nuclear arms control treaty that came into force this year.

The administration had hoped that treaty, known as New Start, would stimulate progress on a more-ambitious arms control agenda with Russia. But talks have stalled amid tensions over U.S. missile defense plans in Europe.

The suspension of data exchange is mostly symbolic because the United States and its allies will continue to provide the same information to other signatories of the treaty, including such Russian allies as Belarus, which could pass it on to the Kremlin.

The treaty, which was signed in 1990, limits the number of tanks, aircraft and other heavy nonnuclear weapons that could be deployed west of the Ural Mountains - the edge of European Russia. A revised version was signed in 1999, but NATO countries declined to ratify it.

The West had insisted that Russia must honor a promise to pull out its troops from Georgia and the breakaway region of Trans-Dniester in Moldova before the West would ratify the new version.

Russia has said the original treaty became obsolete after several of its former communist allies and Soviet republics joined NATO. Former President Vladimir Putin, who now serves as prime minister and remains the Kremlin's de facto boss, has said that the CFE treaty limited the nation's ability to respond to threats on its own territory.

NATO conceals preparations for military action against Syria

NATO conceals preparations to military action against Syria. The United States has decided to disengage itself from certain obligations on the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE). In particular, the USA will no longer inform Russia about the plans connected with the redeployment of its forces. Those restrictions are not touching upon any other country.

"Today the United States announced in Vienna, Austria, that it would cease carrying out certain obligations under the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty with regard to Russia. This announcement in the CFE Treaty's implementation group comes after the United States and NATO Allies have tried over the past 4 years to find a diplomatic solution following Russia's decision in 2007 to cease implementation with respect to all other 29 CFE States. Since then, Russia has refused to accept inspections and ceased to provide information to other CFE Treaty parties on its military forces as required by the Treaty," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said on Tuesday.

According to her, the USA does not refuse from the dialogue with Russia within the scope of the Treaty. However, Russia must get back to the institution of the CFE, the US diplomat added.

Nuland also said that the United States did not intend to tie the CFE with the missile defense talks.

The remarks from the US diplomat look like another attempt to turn everything up side down again. It is worth mentioning here that the first edition of the CFE Treaty was signed in 1990, during the existence of both NATO and the Warsaw Pact. The document stipulated a reduction of the number of tanks, armored vehicles, artillery (larger than 100 mm in caliber), combat planes and helicopters, as well as information exchange.

A renewed variant of the treaty was signed in 1999. The new edition reflected such changes in Europe as the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact and the expansion of NATO. However, only Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan ratified the new treaty. Russia moved a big part of its arms behind the Ural mountains, but the Western countries did not even want to execute it. The expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance continued, and NATO neared Russian borders.

At the end of 2007, Vladimir Putin decided to suspend Russia's participation in the CFE until the USA and its European allies ratified the renewed variant of the treaty. The Americans did not want to make any moves in that direction. Now they have decided not to inform Russia about the redeployment of its forces. This is obviously another violation of the treaty which the United States committed.

What consequences may Russia face as a result of the US decision? Pravda.Ru asked expert opinion from the director of the Center for Military Forecasts, Anatoly Tsyganok.

"The USA will stop informing Russia about military redeployments. The Americans can technically send their troops to Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia, which did not sign the treaty. Will the Baltic states turn into an uncontrollable military center near Russia's borders?"

"When Russia suspended its participation in the CFE Treaty, she had the right to say that some NATO's newcomers, such as the Baltic states and Slovenia, had never signed the treaty. Now NATO eyes Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania and all other former members of the Warsaw Pact.

"When they were deciding on the unification of Germany in 1990, Germany and France said in the appendix to the adequate agreement that NATO would not move beyond the Oder River (the river separates Germany and Poland - ed.). However, the West does not take this appendix into consideration. They only follow the agreement itself, which does not say a word about the non-expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance. It just so happens that the USA and its allies played a trick on Russia.

"Why did it take the United States four years to decide not to inform Russia about military redeployments?"

"Apparently, it is connected with the situation in the Mediterranean Sea. One may assume that NATO will create a military group near Russia's southern borders to strike Syria. They will most likely raise this issue at the NATO summit in December. They will try to analyze Syria's actions in case NATO conducts a military operation against the country, like it already happened in Libya."

"Is Russia a big obstacle for conducting NATO's operation against Syria? Does the USA have anything to conceal from us at this point?"

"Russia is an obstacle, yes. We have a naval base in Syria's Tartus. The base is protected with air defense complexes, so the chances for aggression from NATO or Israel from the sea are slim. If they decide to attack, it will most likely happen from the side of Saudi Arabia. So the USA has something to conceal.

"There is another aspect to this. There are approximately 120,000 Russian citizens living in Syria. Presumably, it goes about Russian women, who married local men. Russia can use this detail to interfere into the events in Syria. In addition, 20 percent of the Russian defense complex will simply tip off the perch in case Russia loses the Syrian market. It is not ruled out that they are regrouping NATO forces to get ready for the war against Syria, and they don't want to notify Russia of that."

Media sources revealed that the Arab countries asked the United States, the transfer of units of the troops in Iraq to the Syrian border with Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq, in the context of the pressures on Syria, and in support of the armed terrorist groups.

Knowledgeable sources told Al-Manar Jerusalem that Saudi Arabia is seeking with Israel to convince the U.S. administration to issue an international resolution gives NATO a cover to launch aggression against Syria and the establishment of no-fly zones on the Syrian border of Jordan and the Syrian and Turkish sources add that Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the encyclopedia financing American-Israeli schemes in the region.

Meanwhile, political sources of al-Manar, Saudi Arabia and Qatar had offered financial assistance on a number of Arab countries to withdraw their ambassadors from the Syrian capital, and engaged U.S. administration and France in this scheme.

To that astonished the writer and political analyst Imad Rahmah of the involvement of some Arab countries in the current events in Syria, stressing that there is support from Erdogan for the Saudi plan to launch an attack on Damascus.

And Rahmah called for in a statement to the world news channel, the Saudi authorities to stop backing the terrorist acts in Syria, adding that Saudi Arabia is the first accused in the killings taking place in this country, and called for non-interference in the affairs of Syria and other countries.

He added that his country has signaled to Saudi Arabia two months ago when he showed the Israeli spy who was explore the information on the Martyr Imad Mughniyeh, which confirms that there is an active and significant to Saudi Arabia in the killing of Imad Mughniyeh, but the Syrian government did not want to escalate to the point of conflict or dispute between Syria and Saudi Arabia .

He said that Saudi Arabia stands with any paper can be used to support Erdogan in attacking Syria, pointing out that some European countries, Turkey has applied to the Security Council for a military operation against Syria.

US deploys aircraft carrier off Syria
http://www.presstv.ir/detail/211870.html
Thu Nov 24, 2011 1:30PM

The US has deployed its newest aircraft carrier off the Syrian coast amid mounting speculations of a Washington-led military invasion against the Arab nation.

A US naval task force, led by the USS George H.W. Bush, parked off just outside Syria's territorial waters, just after the US embassy in Damascus urged Americans to "immediately" leave the country, the Daily Caller news website reported on Wednesday.

Media reports also indicated that US ambassador to Damascus Robert Ford, recalled from Syria in October due the mounting anti-US sentiment in the country, will not return later this month as planned.

The developments come amid Western attempts, spearheaded by the United States, to pressure Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down.

The CVN 77, better known as the George H.W. Bush, is capable of carrying up to 70 aircraft, including 48 fighter jets.

Washington has not explained the purpose of the carrier's deployment to the Syrian coast.

Meanwhile, NATO-ally Turkey is seen as likely to launch a military action against Syria.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has already suggested that Ankara might invade the country under the pretext of weeding out Kurdistan Workers' Party terrorists operating inside Syria.

Arab media have also spoken of an impending no-fly zone over Syria, similar to the one imposed over Libya before NATO launched massive missile strikes and aerial bombardments of the oil-rich country earlier in the year.

The George Bush aims at Bashar Al-Assad

The latest multipurpose nuclear aircraft-carrier The George Bush of the US Navy has been redeployed from the Persian Gulf to the Syrian shores. The ship is capable of carrying up to 70 aircraft, including 48 attack jets. The aircraft-carrier is escorted by a group of vessels which contains a destroyer.

In this connection, experts are giving both a pessimistic and comparatively moderate prospect of developments near the Syrian sea border. Maxim Minayev from the Russian analytical Centre of Political Situations says:

"This is preparation for a military operation against Syria. These activities are reminiscent of a similar initiative when a group of NATO vessels were concentrated near Libya. Washington wants to collect a maximum dividend from the series of revolutions in the Middle East and North Africa. With this aim in mind, Washington is likely to start a military intervention even without UN sanctions. Now we are witnessing the first stage of NATO naval contingents drawing up near the Syrian shorelines."

Oleg Kulakov, an expert in Oriental studies from the Armed Forces University, is not inclined to feel too emotional about the situation.

"The reinforcement of the US aircraft-carrier fleet in the Mediterranean is more likely to be a threat. They are building up muscle in the region and this is undoubtedly an element of strong political intimidation. Military pressure is likely to be augmented by possible diplomatic demarche. However, all this does not mean direct military intervention."

Meanwhile, whipping up tension around Syria is taking place along different lines as well. The day before The George Bush was redeployed near the Syrian coastline, the Al-Arabiya Saudi TV channel circulated a piece of news from the Russians Are Coming! set. It reported that three Russian Navy ships entered Syrian territorial waters. The TV channel referred to a source close to Syrian top authorities.

This news published by a Saudi newspaper was carried on by the Haaretz Israeli news source and a number of other regional media. The Russian Defence Ministry did not confirm this information in a conversation with The Voice of Russia.

However, there is a Russian naval base in the Syrian port of Tartus, so it is small wonder that Russian Navy ships could be seen there. That port is the only Russian military base abroad at present. The agreement on keeping Soviet facilities there was signed by the Syrian government 40 years ago. At present there are only 50 Russian Black Sea Fleet sailors there. They have three piers, a floating repair shop, a peripherals warehouse and some utility rooms.

During last year's campaign against Somali pirates the Russian aircraft-carrier The Admiral Kuznetsov called at the base in Tartus. The crew of The Neustrashimy destroyer spent several days at the base before their return from the Gulf of Aden to the home port of Baltiysk. There is a plan to upgrade the base in Tartus, so that it could receive heavy ships after 2012.

'US, Israel funding terrorists in Syria'
http://www.presstv.ir/detail/211887.html
Thu Nov 24, 2011 4:3PM (Read the next article for the original)

A prominent political analyst says that members of the anti-government "Free Syria Army" are not defected army personnel but militants backed, funded and armed by the United States, Israel, and Turkey.

In an article published on Global Research website on November 20, Thailand-based geopolitical expert Tony Cartalucci cited a report released by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) stating that Syria's opposition is armed and prepared to drag the country into more violence.

"The report comes in sharp contrast to the propaganda fed via the corporate-media and the West's foreign ministers on a daily basis, where the violence is portrayed as one-sided, with Syria's President Bashar al-Assad 'gunning down' throngs of peaceful, placard waving protesters," Cartalucci wrote.

He said the group calling itself a pro-democracy movement is turning out to be a militant group of extremists trained by British and US intelligence agencies, "whose leadership is harbored in London and Washington and their foot soldiers supplied a steady stream of covert military support and overt rhetorical support throughout the compromised corporate media."

The article described the unrest in Syria, which has killed thousands of people including hundreds of security personnel, as funded by Western corporate-financier interests and part of a long-planned agenda for regime change across the Middle East region.

Cartalucci said the regime change in Syria was planned to happen as early as 1991.

He said Washington's threats against Syria, which it listed in 2002 under then President George W. Bush as an "Axis of Evil," were later realized as secret backing for opposition groups inside Syria.

Cartalucci cited an admission made by US State Department officials in April to attempt to "build the kind of democratic institutions" in Syria, and that Damascus perceived the move "as a threat to its control over the Syrian people."

Secret government cables published by US media had earlier revealed Washington has been funding Syrian opposition groups since at least 2005 and continued until today, the article concluded.

The "Free Syria Army": Placard-Waving Protesters are actually Machine Gun-Wielding Terrorists

The "Free Syria Army" is literally an army of militant extremists, many drawn not from Syria's military ranks, but from the Muslim Brotherhood, carrying heavy weapons back and forth over the Turkish and Lebanese borders, funded, supported, and armed by the United States, Israel, and Turkey. The latest evidence confirming this comes in the form of a report out of the International Institute for Strategic Studies which clearly states that Syria's opposition is armed and prepared to drag Syria into more violence.

This report comes in sharp contrast to the propaganda fed via the corporate-media and the West's foreign ministers on a daily basis, where the violence is portrayed as one-sided, with Syria's President Bashar al-Assad "gunning down" throngs of peaceful, placard waving protesters. Just as in Libya where these so-called "peaceful protesters" turned out to be hordes of genocidal racist Al Qaeda mercenaries, led by big-oil representatives, fighting their cause upon a verified pack of lies, so too is Syria's "pro-democracy" movement which is slowly being revealed as yet another militant brand of extremists long cultivated by Anglo-American intelligence agencies, whose leadership is harbored in London and Washington and their foot soldiers supplied a steady stream of covert military support and overt rhetorical support throughout the compromised corporate media.

The unrest in Syria from the beginning was entirely backed by Western corporate-financier interests and part of a long-planned agenda for region-wide regime change. Syria has been slated for regime change since as early as 1991. In 2002, then US Under Secretary of State John Bolton added Syria to the growing "Axis of Evil." It would be later revealed that Bolton's threats against Syria manifested themselves as covert funding and support for opposition groups inside of Syria spanning both the Bush and Obama administrations.

In an April 2011 CNN article, acting State Department spokesman Mark Toner stated, "We're not working to undermine that [Syrian] government. What we are trying to do in Syria, through our civil society support, is to build the kind of democratic institutions, frankly, that we're trying to do in countries around the globe. What's different, I think, in this situation is that the Syrian government perceives this kind of assistance as a threat to its control over the Syrian people."

Toner's remarks came after the Washington Post released cables indicating the US has been funding Syrian opposition groups since at least 2005 and continued until today.

In an April AFP report, Michael Posner, the assistant US Secretary of State for Human Rights and Labor, stated that the "US government has budgeted $50 million in the last two years to develop new technologies to help activists protect themselves from arrest and prosecution by authoritarian governments." The report went on to explain that the US "organized training sessions for 5,000 activists in different parts of the world. A session held in the Middle East about six weeks ago gathered activists from Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon who returned to their countries with the aim of training their colleagues there." Posner would add, "They went back and there's a ripple effect." That ripple effect of course is the "Arab Spring," and in Syria's case, the impetus for the current unrest threatening to unhinge the nation and invite in foreign intervention.

With planted "speculation" running through the corporate media that a recent explosion, amongst several other "incidents" in Iran, were the work of Western covert operations, and the Jerusalem Post all but admitting the entire Western-backed destabilization in Syria aims not at ushering in "democracy" or upholding "human rights," but to weaken Iran by proxy, it is clear that everything within Wall Street and London's power is being done to provoke Iran. Iran has downplayed the recent explosion at their military base as an accident and has thus far maintained a persistent patience in the face of criminal provocations and overt acts of war by an alarmingly and increasingly depraved West.

It is quite clear that the stratagems spelled out in the corporate-funded Brookings Institute report "Which Path to Persia?" have been read and understood by both sides and that Iran realizes that any act of retaliation not expertly played, only gives the West what it has stated it wants - an excuse to go to war with the Islamic Republic. Should the public in Syria, Iran, and throughout the West also read "Which Path to Persia?" and realize that the only threat Iran and its allies pose to the West is toward the extraterritorial ambitions of Wall Street and London, perhaps a bloody, entirely unnecessary war can be avoided, and the first steps taken toward dismantling the parasitic corporate-financier oligarchy that has misled the world for the past several decades.

The Central Intelligence Agency was forced to suspend its operations intelligence in Lebanon, which is the central point of agents and informants to gather information about Syria, terrorist groups and other targets, after the arrest of many of the informants belonging to the Agency in Beirut this year.

The newspaper "Los Angeles Times," a U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity to talk about the issue of confidentiality, as saying: "The cessation of operations at the center of Beirut because of the intelligence breakthrough led to the detection of 12 an informant working for the CIA."

U.S. officials acknowledged that some of the CIA suspended in Beirut since last summer. It is unclear whether these operations have resumed in full, as Beirut is a major center for monitoring the unrest in the Middle East.

The senior officials of the CIA briefed Congress on the violations, at the time visited the Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers Beirut recently to meet with intelligence officers.

It is noteworthy that the visit aimed to determine whether the actions of clumsy customers that led to the disclosure of confidential sources and methods used by the Agency.

And still mysterious circumstances of the violation, in particular the extent of the damage that led to him and that he might be neglected by the managers of the Central Intelligence Agency is the reason for the loss of agency operatives in Lebanon.

According to the source, officers met with the CIA with a number of informants in a Lebanese restaurant "Pizza Hut" local, which allowed Hezbollah and the Lebanese authorities to detect and identify the people who provide information to the CIA.

On the other hand, U.S. officials stressed that the meetings and the meetings in restaurants, "Pizza Hut" did not raise suspicion at all was no reason to disclose sources of the Agency and its customers.

The officials denied the claim to the source, the former head of the CIA ignored a warning was sent by e-mail, warns that detected some clients Lebanese because they used mobile phones to connect to the broker, who linked by proxy only, without the use of phones to connect to one another at all.

The newspaper quoted an informed source as saying that Hezbollah use a sophisticated software program to analyze the cell phone records, which included recordings and site-specific for the detection of a network of Israeli spies since 2007, and arrested dozens of suspects.

In 2010, I think officials have anti-spyware that can track customers and the Central Intelligence Agency in Lebanon in the same way, but the official entrusted with the Presidency Center for U.S. intelligence in Lebanon, ignore this warning and said: "The Lebanese are our friends, and it is possible to cause Bovetna."

Newspaper did not reveal the "Los Angeles Times" about the identity of the official (CIA) in Lebanon, because it still receives a secret tasks, and play a supervisory role at the headquarters of the CIA operations against Hezbollah.

The newspaper quoted an intelligence source as saying that the security apparatus in Lebanon was able to isolate the informants belonging to the Central Intelligence Agency through the analysis of cell phone records that showed the numbers you call, and duration of each telephone call in addition to the site that carried him to call.

Using billing records and archive thousands of phone numbers, the program-mail referred to above to isolate the contacts that were made near the U.S. embassy, or those that use a one-time only, or to make calls quick, then reduce the possibilities of access to a small group of phones that can be a security monitored closely.

In this context, a U.S. official described the spy as "a very complex work, and requires the collection of sensitive information about opponents - who are trying to detect spies in their midst - which makes this task a risky venture."

He added: "Hezbollah enemy is very complicated, it's set design is enormous, and a strong player in politics, in addition to that organization integrated in terms of military and intelligence," pointing out that Hezbollah is characterized by ruthlessness and cruelty should not belittle the one his faculties.

In June, he declared Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the arrest of three of its elements, and said that "two of them working for the CIA, and the third client in either the Central Intelligence Agency, or European intelligence or the Israeli Mossad."

Nasrallah said that the officers of the Central Intelligence Agency, caudalis working under diplomatic cover at the U.S. Embassy recruited the three elements of Hezbollah in early 2011, but the U.S. embassy rejected the accusation.
