Two Syrian tanks infiltrated Lebanese territories in the Bekaa on Tuesday where they fired at an abandoned factory, reported the National News Agency.
It said that the tanks entered the Arsal region in the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon and fired at the abandoned battery factory, believing that armed individuals were hiding in the building.
No injuries were reported.
On September 15, a unit from the Syrian army accidentally fired at the Lebanese army when the former infiltrated northern Lebanon.
A 15-member unit from the Syrian army entered Lebanon near the northern town of al-Mwanseh as it was following shepherds along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
The Lebanese army soon arrived at the scene to inspect the affair.
The Syrian unit then accidentally fired at the army after it had mistaken its identity.
The situation returned to normalcy after contacts were made to clarify the incident.

Armed Terrorist Group Kidnaps Disabled Man and Beats Him
Mahmoud Mahfoud, a disabled youth, was kidnapped on Monday from his workplace in al-Ghab area and tortured by armed terrorist groups, in an incident that illustrates the subversive mentality of these groups who disregard all human and ethical values.
A source at al-Ghab Development Commission told SANA that gunmen attacked on Monday an irrigation center in al-Hwatt village, kidnapped Mahfoud and kept him under 2-hour incarceration, beating him on his paralyzed parts before dumping him on a side road.
The source said that the gunmen brutally beat Mahfoud and robbed him of his special car and ID card.
The source indicated that the residents rescued Mahfoud and carried him to al-Sqailbieh Hospital, adding that his condition is stable but he suffers several bruises and injuries.
The doctor supervising Mafoud said he was severely beaten and suffers injuries to his head and forehead, as well as bruises on his paralyzed foot.
Large Amounts of Smuggled Weapons Seized in Idlib near Turkish Borders
The competent authorities on Monday seized amounts of different weapons near the Syrian-Turkish borders were smuggled to Syria.
The seized weapons included 156 pump-action shotguns, Kalashnikov rifles, 4 RPG launchers with 5 shells, various types of pistols and a long-rang sniper rifles and amounts of offensive and defensive grenades.
Armed Groups Attack Ambulance in Homs
The armed terrorist groups attacked on Monday an ambulance while on its way to rescue one of the injured by these groups in Homs.
One of the paramedics told the Syrian TV "At 08: 30 a.m., we were on a mission to rescue an injured man in Homs, and while we were trying to carry him on the stretcher, the armed group opened fire at us from a Kalashnikov, a pump action and a machine gun.''

شهد مساء اليوم الاثنين خروج مظاهرات متفاوتة في احجامها في عدد من المدن السورية ، بما فيها حلب ، " نصرة للرستن و تلبيسة " .
ففي حلب ، خرج العشرات في حي المرجة الشعبي ، و نادوا بشعارات مناوئة للنظام ، و " مناصرة للرستن و تلبيسة " ، كما خرجت مظاهرة في التوقيت ذاته في شارع الكتاب بحي العزيزية .
