In the Arab League, its Secretary-General has disclosed intentions (to sanction) toward Syria and its leadership through acting promptly without any facts to hold them accountable for not implementing the initiative of the Arab League, and without making any effort to provide the consent of the opposition adopted by the calls for dialogue on which the Arab solution, without recalling what Washington said about expressing its support for armed groups and their refusal to lay down arms, and when the Secretary-General received opposition delegations, organized groups of oppositions adopted by the Secretary-General under the banner of the Council of Istanbul (SNC) beat (other) opponents with completely different opinion and insults them in front of the eyes of the Arab League and the Secretary-General.
This means that:
What happened with the oppositions in front of the Arab League, what if the same thing happened with the oppositions of the Council of Istanbul (SNC) in the Damascus International Airport, in the context of calls for dialogue for the Secretary-General declared ineligible for Damascus as a place for dialogue, how (can you say that) the Arab League is appropriate for the promised dialogue?

Therefore, the Syrians are being given a choice between the democracy which terrorism roving in the Syrian society is offering, and the terrorism of the SNC impersonates themselves and which adopts murderous programs inside and outside of the country and which receives information, diplomatic and financial support (from abroad). (note: in short, a choice of domestic demonstrators or the SNC abroad, and both are terrorists.)

Many observers expected to witness a performance of some Arab satellite channels change remarkably with the announcement reached between Syria and the Arab Ministerial Committee of the Action Plan on the situation in Syria, in order to provide the appropriate environment for the implementation of the Action Plan by stopping daily incitement campaign and spreading lies ...
But what happened was quite the opposite, the channels leading slander campaign and spreading lies that have been exposed and always refuted the facts, the more the pace of work has been intensive during the past few days, do not even say they have opened a new front to try to create a disturbing atmosphere of the holidays in some provinces, and promote a pessimistic atmosphere for the potential success of the Arab efforts in helping Syria to solve the crisis. ...
The question is: how can the Arab Ministerial Committee take such steps about what these channels committed breaches of professional and most important contribution to obstruct efforts by the Commission and its efforts?! Are they going to turn the blind eye on their practices under the pretext of media independence and freedom of expression, even if what they say are lies and incitement about murder?! Or will they take an initiative to make a decision under the roof of the Arab League to prevent these channels and other lies at the very least, or in a language other compelling compliance with the Code of Media Ethics, which was declared many years ago by the Arab information ministers?!.
Some Arab actors hide behind the argument of the independence of the media to justify (their stances) not taking the positions of procedural and legal action against these channels, is loss of credibility and logic for two reasons:
- The first is that the media in their various forms and ownership of investigating and seeking to achieve the objectives of the taxpayer, whether filed by the owner as a business or as a cultural and intellectual, so the talk of independence is unfounded in the countries of the world, even in those that advocate of freedom of information, even more important here is in determining what the goals of the taxpayer and the legitimacy and consistency with applicable laws and regulations in each country.
- Second, the case of deviation, which encapsulate the performance of some of these means, opposing its work and its incompatibility with the Charter of the press work, professional and public traditions and ethics to prevent dangerous means to society and the receiver, which subjects them to the law, accountability, and there are examples of many global in this area .. How should it become a tool for incitement to murder, sabotage and secure communication channel to transmit orders to the gunmen and terrorists?!.
When the announcement of the agreement the Syrian - Arab League was made, we said that the responsibility of the Arab League is to get that achievement into balanced existence completely in terms of size and importance of the responsibility of the Syrian side, as we hope, for example, that the Arab Ministerial Committee take a practical step to stop the inflammatory campaign by Arab Satellite, particularly those that manufacture, rather than broadcast, lies and encourages sectarian strife ... Either that there are Arab countries working on a hidden agenda against Syria at a time announcing the apparent support for the efforts of the Arab League, or that the Western countries eager to thwart the Arab effort by recruiting these means, which records of what they have done and their subordination to foreign intelligence services have proved to escalate and more lies and incitement. . DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Patriarch Gregory III Lahham of Antioch and all the East stressed on Thursday that foreign interference in Syria is clear, adding, "what we see day after day proves the truth of what President Bashar al-Assad said about foreign interference."
In an interview with the Syrian TV, His Beatitude said, "This interference became so clear during the current events in Syria as we felt the US and other European countries' interference", stressing that the success of Syria and President al-Assad in challenging those who confront him is a success for the Arab and Islamic worlds.
Patriarch Lahham pointed out that when Syria accepted the Arab League's initiative, the US immediately called on gunmen in Syria not to surrender themselves to authorities in spite of the general amnesty issued recently.
