Damascus, (SANA) -

Confirmed the Syrian ambassador in Washington, Dr. Imad Moustapha, the United States of America has always sought to raise the current crisis in Syria is making the most of their holdings of an effort to heat up and try to prolong it and benefit from the political and the statements of the U.S. State last on Syria in a series of connected statements abusive confirms that the United States will spare no effort to try to inflict harm Syria.

The Mustafa said in an interview for television Syrian Arab yesterday that the U.S. role in the current crisis is multifaceted, some apparent by the evidence is debatable and some subtle reached the conclusion which emerges from the basic position is that the United States and Syria Taatusbandan decades because Syria in many positions No wonder the United States and the salient feature of the relations since the fifties are the high tension because of the nature of the Arab-Israeli conflict and the full and absolute dependence of U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East to the wishes and orders of Israel.

The Mustafa it is believed that the problem is between him and the Syrian government and turn a blind eye on the role played by the United States in an attempt to take advantage of the crisis is the person who is not fair to his home country because it puts benefits and major national and historical impact on the fate of the entire country in second place and put his interests and political ambitions in the first place without paying attention to the great damage caused by the major spoils to seize the United States from the continuing crisis in Syria.

He Mustafa that the United States wishes always to tempt Syria into the abyss because it is in accordance with the Americans themselves, centers of their research, a thorn in the throat of the American policies in the region since a very long time and are allies of those who repeat and are to a mechanic U.S. policies they felt irritated the Arab initiative and ruled it since the first moment and in proactive it will not succeed and must not succeed, unlike the position of many countries that encouraged her.

Mustafa said that the United States is willing to do anything to prevent a dialogue in Syria, and if there is to prevent its success and achieve the results and find points of convergence between the Syrians.

Mustafa pointed out that the recent sanctions imposed by the United States to Syria are almost cosmetic and caricature because the history of this is due to the sanctions in 1956 and reached its peak in 2004. The Mustafa to approach the government for the current crisis was separated between the two political and security is a political act to meet the demands of large segments of the Syrian people and security cannot allow the whole world so as to armed groups, criminal and bloody committed murder to work on the Syrian arena and the progress of Syria in these two roads parallel agitate the United States, Syria, the more accomplished a significant milestone in the path of change and reform the Western powers increased rage and anger and increased Seir, the media campaign against Syria.

And Mustafa that the U.S. accusations directed at the Syrian Embassy in Washington, intimidating protesters are part of a campaign which has been integrated in a very short call every Syrian ambassadors in dozens of countries allied with the United States on charges of filming Syrian demonstrators and send photos to Syria.

Moustapha described the charges as ridiculous and foolish, because the opposition demonstrations that took place in front of the Syrian Embassy in Washington, portrayed herself and put the images on YouTube and any person can access it to find clear and accurate images of the demonstrations.

According to Mustafa .. The Syrian embassy in Washington has established bridges of communication and dialogue with all sectors of the Syrian community in the United States, including the opposition which had been dealing with the demonstrations in support and opposition in a civilized manner and invites participants to enter to listen to their opinion and dialoguing.

The Mustafa to the U.S. ambassador to Damascus Robert Ford violated the Vienna Convention governing diplomatic relations between the countries of the world several times, therefore, imposed a Syrian government that he not travel outside of Damascus, while the U.S. government imposed by the ambassador to Syria in Washington not to travel outside of Washington with his commitment to the Convention is fully committed and absolute.

Mustafa said: The Syrian benefit to prevent Ambassador Ford from moving freely through Syrian territory larger than the interest it earns from across the United States I moved and I support this decision and fully support the decision to drag me from the United States because it must treat them equally.

Mustafa stressed that the allegations of fear for the security and safety of Ford's ambassador in Syria is incorrect because the Syrian government is fully committed and absolutely guarantee the security of all diplomats, without exception, including the U.S. ambassador and does not want any ambassador to be exposed to any harm.

Mustafa pointed out that the American media bias of the novel anti-Syrian blind and blatant and overwhelming majority of the media and the American practice of deception and lying negative media, but did not descend to the level of agitation after the criminal and bloody, which is practiced by some Arab satellite channels.

From Arab Spring to Arab Winter?

The Arab Spring failed "to wake up" the region. It's a Mosque Revolution, rather than a Twitter Revolution, or a Google Revolution, says Sergei Demidenko of the Institute of Strategic Evaluation and Analysis. Veniamin Popov, Director of the Global Research Institute, disagrees, saying that the revolutions were initiated by the young, not the Islamists. We have more details from our correspondents Vladimir Fedoruk and Sergei Anisimov.

The events in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria caused the entire social stratum in the face of Islamists to come to the surface, Sergei Demidenko says.

"In Libya, Islamists are either in power, or close to it. I wouldn't overdramatize the victory of the moderate Islamic Ennahda Party in Tunisia, even though the trend is alarming enough. In Egypt, the main struggle will be between the military and the Islamists. And it will be the same in Syria, if it comes to struggle. President Assad's regime will be replaced by the military, who will give it a facelift, or by the Islamists. There are no other alternatives."

The only geopolitical outcome of the Arab Spring is the strengthening of Saudi Arabia, Sergei Demidenko says.

"Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the only countries gaining from the Arab Spring revolutions. They are benefiting because they had all the regimes opposed to them removed. Saddam Husein and Muammar Gaddafi were brought down, Hosni Mubarak was toppled, and Bashar al-Assad is the next to go. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf monarchies which are under its control financially and politically remain the only mighty powers in the Arab world."

According to Russia's former Ambassador to Libya Alexei Podtserob, the Arab Spring is in fact the Islamic Winter. The Islamists have won elections in Tunisia. The Muslim Brotherhood is in the lead in Egypt ahead of elections set for November 28th . Members of the Muslim Brotherhood are waging a fierce struggle against President Assad in Syria. The Islamic movement in Libya is a powerful and well-organized force. However, Alexei Podtserob warns against placing the Islamists in Libya and Syria and those in Tunisia and Egypt in the same row.

"If Libya doesn't fall apart, extremists will come to power in Tripoli, and in Damascus as well. If the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party suffers defeat in Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood takes over, Syria will turn into another Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. Libya will follow suit. As for Tunisia and Egypt, their Islamists pursue moderate policies and will not pose great danger if they stand at the helm. They will surely introduce religious elements to the countries' domestic and to a lesser extent, foreign policies, but they are unlikely to meddle in their economic policies."

In the opinion of Veniamin Popov of the International Research Institute, the positions of moderate Islamists will grow stronger, whereas radical Islamists will become weaker.

"The newly arrived Islamists will be different. They will become more moderate as they will have to rule in tandem with secular groups and pursue democratic policies. It wasn't the Islamists who initiated the revolutions - it was groups of well-educated young people who stayed in contact via the Internet, the Facebook and the Twitter. These groups don't share the view that Islam is the solution to all problems. For this reason their activities will go far. The revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia had repercussions in other regions. So it's not accidentally that one of the slogans of the Occupy Wall Street protests calls for Turning Wall Street into Tahrir Square."

According to Veniamin Popov, the Arab Spring is going on and its outcome depends on the ratio of forces and whether foreign forces will be brought in. NATO's Operation United Defender in Libya claimed hundreds of lives and left many areas in ruins. The people in Arab countries should be able to decide their future on their own, without any outside interference, the expert says.
