Walid al-Mu'allim, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants submitted a letter today to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Arab foreign ministers on the points the task that remained unanswered by the Arab League on the draft protocol sent to Syria and the resolutions adopted by the Arab ministerial councils after the agreement on the Arab Plan of Action, particularly the recent decision on 24.11.2011.
The letter stated that Syria has followed with interest all the decisions issued by the Arab ministerial councils after the agreement on the Arab Plan of Action, especially the final decision on 24.11.2011.
In this regard I would like to assure you that Syria and the interest of the joint Arab action and coordination between them and the Arab Ministerial Committee examined the draft protocol sent to them after the ministerial meeting in Rabat, the absence of Syria and the letters were sent to you began by proposing amendments and additions to the Protocol aimed to remove any misunderstanding or ambiguity of the Arab League's mission to Syria, without prejudice to the nature and essence of this task and build on Takidatkm that the task of the Secretary-General is limited to responding to questions and clarifications provided by the Syrian side and we put to you a number of messages include only the important points remain unanswered before you, which drew the attention of the Syrian leadership and summarize these points as follows:

In an unprecedented and contrary to the rules of trade and economic cooperation between Arab countries and aims of the Syrian people recommended the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League at its meeting at the level of ministers of finance and the economy of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers to impose economic sanctions on Syria.
The recommendations made by the Council to stop dealing with the Central Bank and the Syrian government to stop commercial exchanges with the Syrian government with the exception of strategic goods and airlines to stop flights to Syria.
The recommendations called for the freezing of assets of the Syrian government and to stop financial transactions and all transactions with the Commercial Bank of Syria and suppress the financing of any commercial exchange government by Arab central banks with the Central Bank of Syria and the demand of Arab central banks monitor bank transfers and trade credits and the freezing of funding projects on Syrian territory by Arab states.
The recommendations also called for the prevention of travel of VIPs and officials to the Syrian Arab countries.
It is noted that these sanctions goes on the Syrian people and affect in all areas.
The Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council, Ambassador Muhammad spring, said yesterday that the first target of any economic sector in Syria, whether agricultural or industrial or commercial implications will appear on the Syrian people in general.
