MOSCOW, (SANA)- Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called for halt in using ultimatums with Syria.

BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- International organizations including The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) should play their due constructive roles in helping calm ongoing unrest in Syria, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday.
A commission authorized by the UNHRC accused the Syrian government of violating human rights Monday, while Damascus defended its handling of the situation, saying armed groups were responsible for violence in the country.
Hong Lei, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, told a regular press conference that China had noted the report released by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria.
China calls on all the parties concerned to stop all violence and launch an inclusive and balanced political process as soon as possible, restore the country's stability and normal order, Hong said, saying that China will pay close attention to developments in Syria.
Whether or not the United Nations and its security council take further actions on the Syria issue should be determined by whether such actions could help ease the problems, push forward political dialogue on the issue and promote peace and stability in the Middle East, Hong added.
