The council of ministers approved a draft law the escrow account for the development of investment projects, real estate offered for public subscription, which aims to ensure the rights and obligations of the Contracting Parties of the underwriters and real estate developers by opening an escrow account for each project is allocated for the establishment of the real estate project exclusively by the subscriber.

And the Presidency of the Council of Ministers approved the proposals of the Ministry of Industry that urged finding suitable alternatives to face the imposition of any economic sanctions on Syria, which negatively affect the work of its affiliates, particularly those of an economic nature, according to the local newspaper.
And suffer institutions and public sector companies, industrial difficulties manifested most notably in securing the imported inputs, and open letters of credit, the difficulty in shipping, which is exclusively through the General Organization for the transfer of land or the Syrian Arab Airlines, and in addition to payment of the value of foreign sales for by letters of credit.
And therefore, the government agreed to two proposals out of three made by the industry, and was agreed on the need to direct public banks licensed assets in Syria to take the necessary action to pay the value of imports, and paying the sales value in ways that it deems appropriate (adopted - policies against payment - Direct funding - to pay in any currency required by the seller ... etc).
And also agreed to allow companies and public sector institutions and industrial transport of import export that you find appropriate ways locally and globally without being restricted by transport provided by the General Organization for Land Transport and the Syrian Arab Airlines.
And the government refused the proposal of the Ministry of Industry's decision declaring the current stage is exceptional and requires exceptional measures that are allowed to the governing boards and institutions of the industrial public sector to secure their needs and their products and storages appropriate ways to ensure the continuation of the work of these bodies, contrary to the provisions of applicable laws and regulations and to exclude them.
And the government asked the industry to determine what is required for an exception to the provisions of the laws and regulations, and are therefore of the study.
