Interior Ministry Bans Entrance of Motorcycles into Center of Cities

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- Interior Ministry asked the police commands to ban the entry of the motorcycles of all kinds to the centers of the Syrian governorates and cities and roaming inside them, due to the use of the motorcycles by the saboteurs in the acts of sabotage, creating chaos and for shooting fire on the members of the army, security forces and on the citizens.

The Ministry also instructed to book the violated vehicles and arrest their owners according to the laws and regulations.

The Ministry allowed the licensed motorcycles to roam the rural areas and permitted the confiscation of the unlicensed motorcycles and detaining their owners according to the laws and regulations.

Al-Qaeda militants 'crossing into Syria from Iraq'

BAGHDAD, September 10 (RIA Novosti)

Al-Qaeda militants have been moving in to Syria from neighboring Iraq to take part in operations against the Syrian army and security forces, a top Iraqi border official told the al-Afaq TV channel on Saturday.

"In the past two months we have arrested tens of al-Qaeda members as they attempted to cross into Syria," the official said.
