روسيا : سوريا مهتمة بشراء المزيد من الأنظمة الدفاعية الروسية

قال مصدر في وزارة الدفاع الروسية اليوم الإثنين، إن سوريا أبدت إهتماماً بشراء المزيد من الأنظمة الدفاعية الجوية الروسية.

وأشار المصدر في تصريح لوكالة (نوفوستي) الروسية للأنباء إلى أن مجموعة من المراقبين السوريين يشاهدون مناورات بالذخيرة الحية أثناء تدريبات دفاع جوي لدول أعضاء في منظمة (كومنولث الدول المستقلة) في قاعدة أشولوك في منطقة أستراخان قرب البحر قزيون.

وأضاف المصدر أن "سوريا ودول أخرى أبدت إستعداداً لشراء أنظمة (أس 300 فايفوريت) الطويلة المدى وأنظمة (باك) المتوسطة المدى وأنظمة (تور) القصيرة المدى".

وقال إن "الخبراء السوريين يريدون أن يضمنوا أن هذه الأنظمة حديثة فعلاً وقوية وفعّالة".

Russia: Syria is interested in buying more of Russia's defense systems

A source in the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday that Syria expressed interest in buying more Russian air defense systems.

It said in a statement to the Agency (RIA Novosti) Russia's news that a group of observers watching the Syrians live-fire exercises during the training of air defense for the Member States of the Organization (Commonwealth of Independent States) at the base Ochuluuk in the region of Astrakhan, near the sea Qzion.

The source added that "Syria and other countries has shown willingness to purchase the systems (S-300 Vivorat) long-range systems (PAC) and mid-range systems (Tor) short-term."

"The Syrian experts want to ensure that these systems really modern, strong and effective."

Syrian Assets Frozen by Switzerland Reach $51 Million

The amount of Syrian assets frozen by Switzerland has now reached 45 million francs (37.3 million euros, $51 million), Bern said Monday.

"This is a total for all sanctions against Syria, whether they be individuals or companies" and is up from 27 million francs in mid-August, a spokeswoman for the economy ministry told Agence France Presse.
