Erdoğan would be the first senior foreign leader to be visiting Libya since the toppling of Muammar Gaddafi. . .
"This is constitutes stealing the show. The man [Sarkozy] obviously wanted to arrive earlier than Mr. Erdoğan. Right from the beginning, Sarkozy has claimed Libya as if it is a country on which he is the only one to have a say. . . a senior Turkish diplomat told. . .
Sarkozy's concerns over the upcoming 2012 presidential elections are also a key factor in this hastily planned visit," the diplomat said.
