DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Bishop of Sweden and Scandinavian countries, Abdul-Ahad Chabou, stressed on Monday that Syria is exposed to a conspiracy that targets its leadership and people, adding that the conspiracy has been prepared for when the West targeted Iraq.

In an interview with the Syrian TV, Bishop Chabou said Syria will emerge out of crisis and will be an example to be followed.

He added that the Syrian media is highly appreciated by the Syrian community in Sweden because of its credibility.

He said that the Western media ignored deliberately a spontaneous mass rally held by the Syrian community in Sweden to support Syria.

He condemned the assassination of Sarya Hassoun, calling for learning from what happened to Arab countries which have been occupied by foreign countries.
