Syria, India to Enhance Cooperation in Tourism Sector

ALEPPO, (SANA) - An Indian delegation on Tuesday discussed with tourist activities in Aleppo the situation of tourism sector and means of enhancing and developing the tourist exchange between the two countries.

Director of Diplomatic Company for Tourism and Travel, M.B Kana called for exchanging data and getting acquainted with the services and the available infrastructure in Syria and India, in addition to organizing more flights between the two sides.

On his part, the Director of the Tourist Services International Company in Delhi underlined the importance of tourism promotion and consolidating the Syrian-Indian relations.

He also called for investing the tourism potentials enjoyed by Syria, particularly the security and stability and its richness in the archeological monuments, in addition to its key role in the region.

Director of Aleppo Tourism Department, Nasser Adi indicated that the visit of the Indian delegation comes in the framework of the Ministry of Tourism's plan to find new tourist markets and to lay the basis for a future cooperation between Syria and India in this domain.

Syria's ambassador in the United States, Imad Moustapha, said the Security Council will not issue a decision as its decision on Libya because it has cautioned Russia, China and many other countries how America and its allies use UN Security Council resolutions in order to serve its goals, in addition to immunity of Syria, and non-interference of domestic affairs and the regional status.

And he confirmed that the U.S. sanctions are the most that can be imposed on Syria.

In an interview with a television station "Russia today," he said he did not expect from Washington only bad things, noting that the U.S. imposed sanctions on Syria from the days of John Foster Dulles after it signed an agreement to buy weapons with Czechoslovakia, and continues to do so. That America receive advice and guidance from Israel and that they will look for new Fraúd and Strange Things to add to pressure on Syria.

And said, "Mustafa," Syria is currently going through a serious crisis and the reality will come out better than they are until now.

He pointed to the Arab League's decision and said the dialogue, something in line with Syrian policy and Russia encourage and the Syrian leadership to engage in dialogue with all opposition political divides.

He also pointed to the opposition belong to different schools, including real national opposition and opposition under the influence of third parties and there are mercenaries of Washington who cannot be considered the opposition.
