A number of armed terrorist elements evening assassinated an industrialist "Muhammad al-Wais" from the province of Aleppo and the owner of al-Wais plant for the production of food product on the road to Damascus-Aleppo highway.

BEIRUT, (SANA) – Al-Safir Lebanese Newspaper uncovered on Wednesday a group headed by "a northern Lebanon MP's brother" that is smuggling gunmen into the Syrian territories through Wadi Khaled and Akroum border areas.

Earlier, the Lebanese security forces arrested a member of a network involved in smuggling weapons into Syria as he was trying to leave the country.

The newspaper added that the person who was arrested is the associate of Ammar al-Adib who confessed during investigations to smuggling weapons and ammunitions into Syria to transfer them to armed groups inside Syria.
