Syriatel Mobile Telecom cellular communications in Syria issued the third quarterly results for the past nine months ended September 30, 2011.

The net profit for the last three months, about 1.5 billion pounds, and stood for the last nine months to 6.613 billion pounds, an increase of 7.13% for the first nine months of 2010, reaching 6.173 billion pounds, and achieved a share profit of 47.31 pounds.

He notes the decline in profits during the last three months of 2.326 billion pounds during the months (April - May - June) to 1.546 billion pounds for months (July - August - September), down 780 million Syrian pounds, and a decrease of 33% for the three months the previous year the same.

Rami Makhlouf disclosed, on September 26, that the EU sanctions will affect his charitable activities.
