DOHA, (SANA) – The Syrian delegation's meeting with the Arab Ministerial Committee which took place in Doha was concluded on Sunday evening, with honest dialogue prevailing while some points are left to be studied by the two sides and other points were agreed upon.
The Syrian delegation is headed by Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem and consists of Presidential Political and Media Advisor Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, and Syria's Permanent Envoy to the Arab League Yousef Ahmad.
Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, said that the meeting was serious and honest, and that the two sides formulated a work document dealing with all issues and the Syrian delegation asked to respond to the document on Monday.
Hamad said that a meeting will be held on Wednesday at the Arab League whether an agreement is reached over the document or not, hoping to receive an answer on Monday and to reach an agreement.

DOHA, (SANA) – Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem discussed on Monday afternoon with Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the current situation in the Arab arena and the situation in Syria.
Sheikh Hamad expressed keenness to preserve security and stability in Syria, affirming the need to develop relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Presidential Political and Media Advisor Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, and Syria's Permanent Envoy to the Arab League Yousef Ahmad from the Syrian side, along with Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani and Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Hamad al-Atiya from the Qatari side.

UN Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil al-Arabi said the Arab plan for Syria include "the withdrawal of military vehicles from the street and stop the violence immediately and start a dialogue between the regime and the components of the opposition in Cairo."
And quoted by Agence France-Presse (AFP) for al-Arabi saying that the plan submitted to the Syrian delegation on Sunday night in Doha and Damascus is supposed to respond by Monday, states that "the withdrawal of military vehicles and stop the violence immediately in order to give credibility and message of reassurance to the street Syrian."
He said the plan also provides a "start-up dialogue with all the components of the opposition in Cairo."
And in context, said a source close to the Syrian delegation, Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem went to the Amiri Diwan to meet with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
It was unclear how Damascus would respond to the Arab plan.
The source said an Arab diplomat in Doha that there is "an air of cautious optimism" for the expected response from Syria.
And Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani on Sunday night at the conclusion of the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on the Syrian, "The committee put forward a paper to stop the violence in Syria, Damascus asked until Monday to respond to them."

ALEPPO, SANA_ Grand Mufti of the Republic Dr. Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun underlined the historic and brotherly ties binding the Syrian and Turkish peoples despite all the enemy's attempts to undermine them and sow sedition instead.
During his meeting with a Turkish women delegation, Hassoun pointed out to the colonial aims in the region, represented by dividing the region into ethnic and sectarian entities to weaken its people and make them submit to their expansionist and aggressive objectives.
The Mufti pointed out to the big conspiracy targeting Syria's national and pan-Arab stances, stressing that Syria has overcome the hardest stage of the crisis thanks to its people's awareness.
He said that what is taking place in Syria is going to hit Turkey in the upcoming stages.
Hassoun pointed out to the importance of boosting relations between the two sides in a way that could be positively reflected on the two people's interests, wishing that the delegation would convey a message to the Turkish people about the events taking place in Syria.
For their part, members of the delegation expressed their appreciation of Syria's key position for Turkey, affirming that what is being hatched against Syria will affect not only Turkey but also the whole region.
They stressed their total rejection of all these attempts which are part of the project of the so-called "New Middle East" being carried out by the USA and its allies.
Earlier, the Turkish women's delegation comprising 40 former parliamentarians, heads of opposition parties, heads of associations and activists arrived in Aleppo on Sunday to be closely briefed on the reality of the situation in Syria.
They underlined the depth of the historic relations and joint interests linking the Syrian and Turkish peoples, stressing the need to strengthen them for facing the current challenges faced by the region with the aim of fragmenting it to serve the US and imperialism interests.
Members of the delegation indicated that they will document what they have seen of facts in Syria, saying that the visit would be effective in taking important decisions.
